After you sign a contract and a little work has been done to your property, you are basically in for the roller coaster ride, with no way to get off until it is over.

However, knowledge and experience is what prompts preventative measures.

Knowing what can and might go wrong with the plans, the people,  clearly communicating with property owners, contractors and laborers, and keeping up with the ever-charging building codes and requirements, will undoubtedly save the time and money that was originally expected.

Situational awareness and seeing the big picture is the difference between a good and not so good experience.

Knowing which questions to ask ahead of time is far more important than knowing all the answers afterwards.
